People are comparing the cute sea creature to rabbits, cats and even Pokémon due to its two tiny "ears" and a fluffy "tail." But, these "bunny ears" atop the sea slug's body are actually rhinophores, which allow the animal to process scents.

This negative afterimage illusion was explained by Dr. Juno Kim of the University of NSW School of Optometry and Vision Science.
Humans have three channels for seeing color -- grayscale, red-green and blue-yellow -- that relay information from the back of the eye to the brain, Kim explained.
"When you look at something that, for example, is yellow for a long period of time, you stimulate the cells that are positively sensitive to yellow," he said.
But if those cells become over-stimulated -- say, from 15 seconds of staring at a fixed point -- then they won't immediately return to a normal state.
"When you then direct your gaze at a uniform background... the cell doesn't return to its resting activity, it goes much lower than that," Kim told the Mail.
In this case, the blue receptors in your eyes become fatigued, which then makes it easier to perceive the yellow tones you might see in the illusion of the woman's face.

The color yellow is for herpes! A British teenage boys group have presented an idea for a condom that can change colors based on whether its wearer has an STD (sexually transmitted disease).
These boys, Muaz Nawaz, Daanyaal Ali and Chirag Shah from London's Isaac Newton Academy, shared their concept for the shade-shifting sheath at TeenTech London. This modern science fair challenges students to create technology that would make life simpler, better or easier.
According to Daily Mail as told to them by the teens, the condoms would contain molecules that attach to STD bacteria and shine with a fluorescent glow. This concept is called S.T.EYE, a play on the sexually transmitted infections it is intended to recognize.
The color of the condoms will change to green for chlamydia, yellow for herpes and blue for syphilis.
“We wanted to make something that made detecting harmful STIs safer than ever before, so that people can take immediate action in the privacy of their own homes without the often-scary procedures at the doctors," co-inventor Ali said in a TeenTech statement.
"We’ve made sure we’re able to give peace of mind to users and let people act even more responsibly than ever before," he added.
As of now, this innovative condom still remain an abstract concept. TeenTech says a condom manufacturer has shown interest in bringing the teens' colorful idea into reality. SOURCE
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - North Korea claims that they have succeeded where the greatest minds in science have failed.
South Korea, authoritarian, impoverished nation better known for pursuing a nuclear program despite global criticism made an announcement on Friday saying that they have a drug the can prevent and cure MERS, Ebola, SARS and AIDS.
However, the secretive state did not provide any proof leaving a widespread skepticism.
The official Korean Central News Agency said scientists developed Kumdang-2 from ginseng grown from fertilizer mixed with rare-earth elements. According to the pro-North Korea website Minjok Tongshin, the drug was originally produced in 1996.
"Malicious virus infections like SARS, Ebola and MERS are diseases that are related to immune systems, so they can be easily treated by Kumdang-2 injection drug, which is a strong immune reviver," KCNA said.
North Korea banned foreign tourists for more than half a year with some of the world's stricktest Ebola controls, even though there are no reports of the disease anywhere near the country.
According to World Health Organization, North Korea has been struggling to combat diseases like tuberculosis and respiratory infections which are the most common causes of death in the country.
A man from California recently made waves on Facebook after posting a weird image of an oddly shaped cutlet that he claims to have received in a meal from a Los Angeles KFC on Friday. The photo had been shared more than 121,000 times and counting since then.
Devorise Dixon, 25, mentioned on Facebook that he found the rat-looking cutlet rubbery upon having a bit on it. He then claimed to have taken it back to the KFC restaurant where he bought it. Dixon said that the restaurant manager apologized and offered him a free meal as compensation for the inconvenience he had with the fried rat.
KFC defended themselves by saying that Dixon is misleading the public and that the object in question is just a piece of breaded chicken.
"A customer has made a serious claim against KFC and refuses to cooperate in the investigation," KFC said in a statement sent to The Huffington Post. "Based on this, and the fact that he refuses to allow anyone to see the product, we are left to believe that he intended to deceive the public with this hoax and we are considering all options."
KFC also said that they tried contacting Dixon but he refused to talk directly or through an attorney.
"Our chicken tenders often vary in size and shape and this just happened to be an oddly shaped one," KFC spokesman Rodrigo Coronel told HuffPost in an email. He emailed the following image, which zooms in on a photo from Dixon's Instagram account.

Shinn, a jockey, experienced one embarrassing moment when his pants fell down on the final turn of Race 1 at Australia's Canterbury racecourse, leaving his bare derriere in the air. However, Shinn did not let the wardrobe malfunction distract and make him out of focus, keeping his eyes on the bum-rush to the finish line.
"I was more worried about winning the race. They [the pants] went just after the start and there was nothing I could do," Shinn told the Sydney Morning Herald. "I think a lot of people are going to have a bit of fun with this, but they can't say I wasn't focused and went to the line."
"We usually report gear malfunctions, but we are leaving that one alone," added acting chief steward Greg Rudolph.
"I usually come here and stay focused in search of winners. People wouldn’t know I’m that cheeky," Shinn told Sky Channel's Richard Haynes after the race, eliciting laughter from the crowd. Haynes encouraged the jockey to "go and debrief with your owners."

According to a post on Google's blog, their initiative is part of the anniversary celebration (including Tuesday's Google Doodle) of the iconic "Surgeon's Photograph" that began the legend of the Loch Ness monster. The photo, which was taken in 1934, showed what appeared to be a giant sea creature raising its neck out of the water, which started a series of conspiracy theories that linger to this modern day.
To get the images, Google ditched its recognizable Street View car in favor of a boat. But, they also employed a team of professional divers to snap photos beneath the weird lake's surface. A video was also made showing how they did it.

Niamh Geaney from Dublin, Ireland just had the exact experience.
Geaney and her two friends (Terence Manzanga and Harry English) put a call out on the Internet to find out their lookalike from anywhere in the world. The contest was called Twin Strangers. What they've gotten was positive responses, but none so amazing like Geaney's.
Geaney never thought that her "twin" would live so close by. Karen Branigan, 29, is Geaney's strange twin. Branigan lives in Drogheda, just an hour's drive north from Geaney. The two girls met last weekend at Geaney's place in Dublin, and filmed the results.
"She probably looks closer [to me] than some of my sisters," Geaney said in the video, above.
"For the entire duration of our encounter, I pretty much stared at her,” Geaney said, according to ABC News. “I couldn’t get over her face and some of the expressions she would pull. I would think to myself or aloud, ‘Oh my God, that’s my face.’ I can’t remember the number of times I said, ‘This is so freaky.’ It was truly amazing.”
Although it would have been easy to mistake one from the other when they first met, the women decided to take it a step further by wearing matching outfits and make-up. The results are shocking.

Pepiot slowed down and waved to the crowd not knowing Simon Meron is just a foot away. Meron took the opportunity and charged down to the finish line leaving Pepiot shocked. Pepiot lost just by 0.10 seconds according to the judges.
"I thought I was by my self, like, far in front of the second guy," Pepiot said. "I saw [Simon] on the screen, I tried to pick up, he just got me on the line. I'm not proud of myself right now, but it's a good lesson for me, I think, not to do this in the future. Next time I'll just run the whole final stretch and celebrate in the victory lap."
It's not the world's tallest, longest or even fastest playground, but Ai Pioppi can be considered the scariest playground on earth.
A traveler, Tom Scott, recently visited the weird playground and amusement park, which looks like something that might have closed down years ago. Scott's YouTube video shows that the playground is vey much in operation and still scarying visitors with it's bizarre rides. The rides were all built by a man named Bruno and are free to people who come to eat at his restaurant (although it might be a good idea to try them out before dinner, on an empty stomach). One of them, which Scott said is called the "Bicycle of Death," is a metal cage that takes its riders as far into a 360-degree loop as they can manage by pedaling... before gravity pulls them back down -- backwards.

A curious student Googled his Math professor's name and was shocked to find out that he's also a top fashion model.
Pietro Boselli, 26, has already been known over the internet as the hottest Math teacher in the world after his discovery went viral.
This 6ft 1in muscle and handsome man, originally from Negrar in Italy, was teaching at University College London when the student Arief Azli found his Instagram account.
After the discovery, his social media account boasts more than 80,000 followers.
He tweeted: "That moment when you realise your maths lecturer is a top designer model."
Students started taking pictures of Mr. Boselli right and posted them online.
Boselli also has a PhD in mechanical engineering and was crowned European Fitness Model in 2014.
Russian people were left puzzled after unexplained massive flashes of lights appeared in the country's skies. It was very quick that's why it's only motorists who uses dashcams captured the weird event.
The image above, at left, is the most recent of these strange occurrences, which happened on March 17 in the sky just above southern Russian city of Stavropol. While, the blue-white flash of light lasted only a couple of seconds.
"It wasn't a meteorological event. There wasn't a storm," Natalya Kimenko, an analyst at the Stavropol Meteorological Center, told ABC News. "More likely, it is something made by a human being."

Although this is a very weird phenomenon, a similar event already occured just four months ago, November 14, where a dashcam captured another spectacular light explosion in the night sky.
Theories about the cause of these unexplained events ranged from a UFO to a meteor to military activities. However, none of these have been confirmed to date and these weird phenomenon still remained a mystery.
In all these cases, amazingly, there was no reported accompanying sound to the light flashes.
Of the March 17 incident, Russia Today reported "The soundless flash of light scared several people, as it made some streetlights in the city go out, while being accompanied by the flickering of lights inside apartments and houses."

Yuri Varakin, a Stavropol Center meteorologist, told ABC News the Stavropol light display may have been caused by a powerful projector lamp that airports use to measure cloud height.

Bihar Education Minister, PK Shahi, told the Times of India: "What can the government do to stop cheating if parents and relatives are not ready to cooperate?
"Should the government give orders to shoot them?"
STELLENBOSCH, South Africa - A successful penis transplant was successfully done, said by a South African university on Friday.
The transplant lasted for nine hours last December and was conducted by specialists from the faculty of medicine and health services at the University of Stellenbosch. The said patient had his penis amputated three years ago following complications from a circumcision that was performed in his late teens, the university mentioned.
The university near Cape Town in southwestern South Africa said that the 21-year-old patient has miraculously made a full recovery and has regained all function in the newly transplanted organ.
It was at least the second time this weird medical procedure had been attempted. The university did not disclose any details of the organ donor but they said "finding a donor was one of the major challenges."
The university said that it's planning for nine more patients to receive penis transplants in the coming days.
