The Mystery of La Pascualita: The Chihuahua Corpse Bride

La Pascualita is a bridal mannequin located at a store window in Chihuahua, Mexico. The mannequin has lived in the bridal gown shop for over 75 years which is strangely very long enough compared with the normal dummies stored in the usual shops.  

La Pascualita of Chihuahua is not just an old mannequin that the store owners has retained for a very long time though. It also have a rather weird history behind it. Urban legend says that the dummy isn't just a dummy at all, but the well-preserved corpse of the previous owner's daughter, thus, gaining its popularity.

For many years, the weird story of La Pascualita has been intriguing lots people from all over the world, making it even more popular until it became a well-known tourist spot in Mexico. Visitors from different places were mostly amazed to how realistic La Pascualita was. They usually walk away persuaded that the corpse bride has to be real.

Based on its history, La Pascualita was first installed in the shop's window on March 25, 1930, dressed in a spring-seasonal bridal gown. It sooner caught the attention of the passersby because of its realistic hair and blushing skin tone. 

Then, the time came when people started to realize that the mannequin actually looked very similar to the shop owner's deceased daughter, Pascuala Esparza. These findings soon made them conclude that the mannequin was in fact the perfectly embalmed body the dead woman. Pascuala was said to have died from a Black Widow spider bit on her exact wedding day. 

Although many people believed that La Pascualita is indeed a perfectly preserved bridal corpse, it did not escape the myth busters of the Internet. 

”It would be impossible to embalm someone and have their flesh be preserved that perfectly. For some reason, people tend to think that it’s easier to preserve a body than it actually is,” according to The Museum of Hoaxes. Another person said “Yeah, bodies really go bad pretty darned fast unless you take some rather heroic measures to keep them from doing so. Both Lenin and Mao have basically been rendered to a state much like rubber, and are kept under extraordinarily monitored conditions. Most of the stuff that undertakers and what all do is with the aim of making the corpse look good until burial. Anything over a couple weeks, and things start going very, very bad. A taxidermist might manage something, but it ain’t gonna be pretty.”

You Can Now Search for the Loch Ness Monster on Google Street View

It's been one of the most persistent mysteries of all times - does the Loch Ness monster, Nessie, exist? For those people who are really interested in finding out, Google is your friend. The big internet company has taken its Street View cameras on and under Scotland's most famous lake.

According to a post on Google's blog, their initiative is part of the anniversary celebration (including Tuesday's Google Doodle) of the iconic "Surgeon's Photograph" that began the legend of the Loch Ness monster. The photo, which was taken in 1934, showed what appeared to be a giant sea creature raising its neck out of the water, which started a series of conspiracy theories that linger to this modern day.

To get the images, Google ditched its recognizable Street View car in favor of a boat. But, they also employed a team of professional divers to snap photos beneath the weird lake's surface. A video was also made showing how they did it.

Watch: Russian Night Skies Turned Into Day By Weird Massive Lights

Russian people were left puzzled after unexplained massive flashes of lights appeared in the country's skies. It was very quick that's why it's only motorists who uses dashcams captured the weird event.

The image above, at left, is the most recent of these strange occurrences, which happened on March 17 in the sky just above southern Russian city of Stavropol. While, the blue-white flash of light lasted only a couple of seconds.

"It wasn't a meteorological event. There wasn't a storm," Natalya Kimenko, an analyst at the Stavropol Meteorological Center, told ABC News. "More likely, it is something made by a human being."

Although this is a very weird phenomenon, a similar event already occured just four months ago, November 14, where a dashcam captured another spectacular light explosion in the night sky.

Theories about the cause of these unexplained events ranged from a UFO to a meteor to military activities. However, none of these have been confirmed to date and these weird phenomenon still remained a mystery.

In all these cases, amazingly, there was no reported accompanying sound to the light flashes.

Of the March 17 incident, Russia Today reported "The soundless flash of light scared several people, as it made some streetlights in the city go out, while being accompanied by the flickering of lights inside apartments and houses."

Watch: Alleged Bigfoot family filmed in Yellowstone National Park

The mythical beast showed up again. Now, it seems like they are on a family vacation!

The most recent alleged footage of Bigfoot shows four, weird dark figures trekking through the snow near Old Faithful geyser in Yellowstone National Park.

The original video was posted by Mary Greeley in December but just recently started getting attention from believers of the mythical creature. The three-and-a-half minute video clip focuses on several bison roaming in the foreground.

ThinkerThunker on YouTube, a Bigfoot believer, made an 11-minute video clip arguing that the four, single-file creatures in the background are Bigfoot. He emphasizes that the alleged Bigfoot could not be people because of their bodily dimensions, speed and their intelligence for standing so close to wild buffalo.

However, park officials don't seem to be convinced.

“People say a lot of crazy things about Yellowstone all the time and Bigfoot is just one of them," Yellowstone National Park spokesperson Al Nash told KTMF.

Possible Sea Monster In New Zealand Caught By Google Earth

This can be just a glitch but some people are convinced that this weird shadow that appears beneath the waters of Oke Bay, coast of New Zealand's North Island, is a sea monster.

The first man who spotted the dark mass using Google Earth, Engineer Pita Witehira, told the Daily Mail that he doesn't think it's a boat because there's no white wake. While some people think it's a floating tree trunk.

It's actually not the very first cryptozoological sighting in the region. In 2013, some witnesses captured a picture of a weird shape off the coast of Australia's Magnetic Island.

It was the Loch Ness monster, amateur photographer David "Crusty" Herron claimed. Given that Magnetic Island is more than 1,000 miles away from Oke Bay, it' still a lot closer than Scotland.

After hearing about the previous Bigfoot sightings at the nature reserve, Adam went into the woodland searching for clues.

He then followed some weird noises and suspiciously large footprints in the woods before he amazingly captured what he believe is the mysterious Bigfoot on camera.

He said: "My investigators and I were tipped off that this small patch of woodland in Friskney could be a hotspot for Bigfoot beasts."

"There is at least one reported sighting here, so we decided to check it out."

"We stayed there for a few hours that day and felt watched and followed the whole time."

"I took various photographs throughout the investigation and when I checked back through them I spotted the creepy picture."

"It looks like a shadowy figure stood within the trees staring at us from afar."

"It shows something dark, a different colour against all that greenery.

"I make no bold claims but my fellow investigators think this could be genuine evidence that the British Bigfoot exists."

Adam has been investigating Bigfoot sightings in the Uk for over two years now, and is convinced of the creature's existence.

When he was 15, holiday in Florida, Adam claims to have encountered the Sasquatch for the first time.

He spotted a weird huge orangutan-like creature with reddish-brown hair walking in the bushes and has been obsessed with the legend ever since.

He said: "My main reason for thinking there is something in the UK is the sheer number of sightings. People have been reporting hairy, upright figures since around the 1870s.

"One misconception is that the UK doesn't have sightings - but there are many."

Latest And Clearest Photo Of The Loch Ness Monster - Nessie Showed Up Again!

Jonathan Bright, a photographer, has unveiled a photo he believes shows the head of the Loch Ness Monster.

Bright spoke at a Paranormal Festival in Scotland all the way from his home in Greece to ask questions about the infamous Loch Ness Monster of the deep water.

He then returned to the 22 square-mile water hoping a second sighting of the bizarre monster.

Jonathan Bright wrote on his blog: "The first time that I had noticed the 'object' (or maybe I should say 'head', at least as I interpret the image) was actually several months after my return from that trip and the initial review of my photos."

Jonathan's photo of Nessie had a lot of online believers while others say it's just a wave or a possible photo manipulation.

Bright told ScotlandNow: "My travels for exploring legends and investigating mysterious phenomena have taken me to various places in Europe, but nowhere else have I felt so enchanted and connected with the place as at the mysterious Loch Ness."

"It was only a brief trip in the Highlands, but on the day that I was actually cruising the Loch, my infrared camera had captured a picture that, in my opinion, proves that the ‘monster’ is much more than a tall tale."

"Of course, a picture alone will never be able to stand out as unambiguous evidence, let alone provide adequate answers to all of our questions on the exact nature of the phenomenon that we call Nessie."  

"Whatever is the truth, there is no denying that Nessie will continue to intrigue the world for years to come."

The very first sighting and photograph of the Loch Ness monster was taken in 1933 however it has never been confirmed by the scientific community.

Also, the very first person who is said to have seen Nessie was a monk in the seventh century.

A woman was shocked after discovering that a ghost had photobombed her selfie with a friend.

A ghostly figure of an elderly woman in Victorian clothing ruined the picture of the girls when it photobombed them from behind. The bizarre apparition was caught on camera by Victoria Greeves and Kayley Atkinson while on their girls night out in Newcastle last Sunday.

Being fans of selfie, they decided to take a snap while enjoying a drink. But, after striking their best pose, they noticed a weird third person from behind in the photo. Spooky elderly woman dressed in Victorian clothing.

After seeing the spooky photo, Victoria deleted the weird ghost photobomber right away on her phone.

She said: "We took the picture in the bar as we usually would, we are both fans of a selfie.

"I uploaded the picture to Snap chat and thought nothing more of it but later that night Kayley rang me in a panic and told me to have a closer look.

"She said there was a figure in the background, and I am quite skeptical about things like that so I just laughed at the time.

"But when I looked back at the picture I could not believe what I was seeing. It is terrifying."

"I couldn't look at the picture at the beginning as I was too freaked out.

"It is so clear, and it looks like what can only be described as a Victorian woman, laughing behind us."

The girls are known as regular customers at the popular riverside bar, but, after the scary ghost photobomber experience, they said that they would think twice before going back to the bar.

Kayley, a local authority worker said, "The bar was dead when we went in. It was only when I got home later on that I noticed the photo. I couldn't believe it."

"I was absolutely terrified and Victoria was so scared that she deleted the photo off her phone.

"A lot of people have said we must have Photoshopped the picture, and I can't blame them, but neither of us would even know how to do that.

"I didn't believe in ghosts at all before, but I'm not so sure anymore."

A staff member of the said bar mentioned that no one who worked there have ever seen a ghost but, as they know, the Newcastle's city centre is a place where ghosts lurks.

People say that the spectre is the possible ghost of a maid from the nearby house who mysteriously died centuries ago. Others believe that she might be a lost spirit from an abandoned graveyard that is thought to lie hidden in the fields nearby. They say that during Halloween night, the mysterious forgotten graves are said to open and the Grey Lady is accompanied on her walk by the tormented souls of those who were buried beside her.

The Dark Hedges trees have grown over the past 300 years on each side of the lane. The beech trees reached up and across to each other that's why it created a natural arched tunnel where shadows and lights plays through entwined branches.

This spooky and weird place was used in the hit fantasy series, The Game Of Thrones by HBO.

Just wondering why Game Of Thrones actors and crews did not see this ghost. Probably because they were busy killing each other in the hit tv show.

CCTV cameras caught what paranormal experts say as a proof that ghosts exist.

Sefton Paranormal Investigators group captured video footage of ghostly images and orbs on a tour of the Liverpool Medical Institute.

Pamela Robinette, from Sefton Paranormal Investigators, mentioned: “The walls are covered with portraits of past significant bodies and we started by asking for the people in the portraits to step toward the device.

“After calling for Richard Caton, Lord Mayor of Liverpool in 1909, the alarms went off.

“We continued to direct questions to Richard Caton for two hours and have documented evidence of seventeen occurrences in which the rempod was set off.”

What they found first was the sight of a ghostly orb at the foot of the main staircase, just passed accross the room, in front of one of their team members.

Secondly, an infrared light was pulled off in the library. Others also claim that they heard unexplained and weird voices or breaths recorded in a secure room in the medical institute.

Pamela said: “We captured a strange light anomaly that appeared within shot and disappeared in shot.

“We eliminated it as dust because of its brightness and intensity. And if it was a bug there would have been a specific flight path and shape - but in this case there is not.”

The Liverpool Medical Institute opened in 1837, and is also considered as one of the oldest medical societies in the world. It has a reputation as one of the most haunted buildings in the United Kingdom.

Most of the ghostly sightings were reported to be seen in the Victorian lecture theatre, the main staircase and the library.

Seven Suspected 'Witches' Burnt To Death By Angry Villagers In Tanzania

 

23 people has been arrested due to a killing involving 7 suspected witches who were rounded up, attacked and burnt to death in the village of Murufiti, Tanzania.

Police chief Jafari Mohamed said: “They were attacked and burnt to death by a mob of villagers who accused them of engaging in witchcraft.

“Five of those killed were aged over 60, while the other two were aged over 40."

Villager Josephat John told Tanzania’s Mwananchi newspaper: “When I returned home in the evening, I found the body of my mother lying 10 metres away from our house, while the body of my father was burnt inside the house.

“They will appear in court to face murder charges.”

Many people in Tanzania still believe in black magic. They blame witchcraft for misfortunes such as poverty, infertility and failure in business.

Reports from Tanzania's Legal and Human Rights Center estimates up to 500  alleged witches which includes mostly elderly women or what they called "albinos".

"We instantly started running towards the noise," she said. "We couldn't find the child anywhere and so stopped to catch our breath."

"That's when I turned around and saw a girl stood behind me, no more than 10 years old, with her hands over her eyes. It was as if she was waiting for a birthday cake. I asked if she was OK and if she had been the one screaming. She put her arms down by her side and opened her eyes. That's when I saw they were completely black, no iris, no white, nothing. I jumped back and grabbed my daughter. when I looked again, the child was gone. It was so strange."

 Lee, 28, said on his paranormal website that the woman's experience mirrors the earlier sightings.

 "In the summer of 1982, my aunt was 18 years old, and she and her friends would often meet on Cannock Chase in the evening time, probably in much the same way many teenagers still do today. One evening, just before dark, she heard a little girl frantically shouting for help. Rushing to locate the sound, she stumbled upon a dirt track and caught sight of the girl, about six years old running in the opposite direction."

"When my aunt caught up, the girl turned around and looked her in the eyes, and then ran of into the dark woodland. Her eyes had been completely black with no trace of white."

THE DOOR TO HELL - ENTER HELL AT TURKMENISTAN!

Seems like Tazmenian Devil did not come from Tazmenia, maybe from Turkmenistan where the alleged and so called "Door to Hell" opened.

Weird and creepy as it may sound, the Door to Hell does not really refer to a literal door which will bring you to hell. The Door to Hell is actually a natural gas field in Derweze, which means "gate", at Ahal Province, Turkmenistan. It was named The Door to Hell because of natural gas fires which countinously burn since it was lit by Soviet Petrochemical Engineers in 1971. The fire is continously burning because of the rich natural gas deposits within the area.

The area was discovered by Soviet engineers in 1971 and thought that it was an oil field. Then they started drilling and camped nearby. Soviet engineers were happy to find out that they have identified a rich gas reserve. Unfortunately, the drilling rig and their camp collapsed into a very wide and deep crater. Good thing, no lives were lost but a very large quantity of methane gas were released. To avoid potential danger and damage to nearby villages, the Soviet engineers decided to just burn the gas thinking that it would last only for about a week. Surprisingly, their anticipation was incorrect. The methane gas continously burn up until this day.

[Trending Ghost Video] Espanola New Mexico Police Department Ghost Caught on Camera - Real Ghost Video!

A state-of-the-art gates and alarms seems no effect to this alleged ghost caught walking by cctv camera in Espanola, New Mexico police department.

Officer Karl Romero was monitoring the surveillance cameras around the station last Saturday night when he spotted something weird and strange in the sally port (secured entryway).

"At first I thought it was a podilla -- a fly or moth -- then I saw the legs ... and it was a human," he told KOAT TV. "But not a real human. No, a ghost.

The said Cctv video footage shows a blurry bright, white figure walking around the gated area.

Romero immediately reported the weird alleged ghost cctv video footage to his superiors. Detective Solomon Romero agreed that one possible explanation for the video is a ghost. Romero said that there is no way in or out of the very secured premises without the gates opening with the alarm sounding.

Also, other detectives have heard weird and strange noises and seen bizarre and unexplained images in the lobby too!

“I do believe in ghosts," Romero told KOAT TV. "I don’t know (what exactly was on the video), but we’ve had some unsolved murders in the area."

However, Bryan Bonner of the Rocky Mountain Paranormal Research SOciety isn't actually impressed about the video.

"That has to be one of the worst videos that I have seen," he told HuffPost by email. "The image appears to have been caused by a small insect (possibly a small spider) crawling on the plastic case that houses the lens."

"Because of that they fall back on the same biases as most people and jump the the conclusion that if they cannot explain it it has to be a ghost, when it is very easy to explain."
