People are really fond of experimenting. It doesn't matter what will happen to them. Well, in the first place, they actually did not really know what's going to happen!
Jack, a kid, decided to put a glow stick in their microwave. Unfortunately, it exploded in his face. Jack's dad was not really happy about it because he had to spend three minutes reading the label of the glow stick just to figure out what to do. What happened to Jack is sad but this incredible video of them uploaded to YouTube by Jack's older brother went viral.

"God dammit, Jack!" the dad yells. "I have to see what to do, you dingaling! ... Not to mention it's all over your awesome shirt."
Good thing, Jack probably will not go blind. Dibutyl phthalate, the chemical inside most of the glow sticks is low in toxicity and causes just minor irritation if swallowed or in contact with the eye. Most professional doctors and poison centers recommend flushing out the eye with water for at least 10 minutes and immediately call a poison control center if the irritation persists.
Now, this would be a lesson to Jack the "Dingaling."
The moral? Don't microwave glow sticks!
