New mysterious, weird and bizarre holes have appeared in Siberia after the giant crater on the Yamal Peninsula.
The second mysterious hole appeared in the same permafrost region of northern Russia while the third weird hole showed up in Taymyr Peninsula, to the east, in Kransoyark region. Reindeer herders were the ones who discovered the bizarre holes where they almost fell in.
The very first hole received worldwide attention after being discovered by helicopter pilots about 20 miles (32 km) near a huge gas extraction plant at Bovanenkov.

The new Yamal crater (hole) pictured above is in the Taz area near the village of Antipayuta and has an amazing diameter of almost 49ft ( 15 meters). Based from the local people, the weird hole formed on September 27, 2013.
The new bizarre and mysterious holes which are kind of smaller in diameter but similar in shape are now puzzling the minds of the Russian scientists.
Some theories say it came from meteorites, stray missiles, a man-made hole, aliens, to an explosive cocktail of methane or shale gas suddenly exploding.
The theory about the melting permafrost due to climate change, causing a release of methane gas which forces an erruption is the most popular right now but scientist are not yet certain about the true cause of the weird and mysterious holes.
The third weird hole which was discovered accidentally by reindeer herders is said to be about 60 - 100 meters deep and 13 ft in diameter.
An officer from the regional parliament, Mikhail Lapsui said that he flew by helicopter to inspect this funnel.
Some natives of the region claims that they saw the weird and mysterious holes smoking and then there was a bright flash. Others say that a celestial body fell there.
Scientists say that the weird holes has more of an oval shape which make it hard for them to calculate the exact diameter of it. Also, the structure is so fragile that the scientists are not able to climb deep into the lake and had to send cameras instead.
