Are you a big fan of Chuckie, Robert the Doll or Annabelle? Those creepy and weird haunted dolls always makes my hair stand! We have seen them in few movies. We have read them in books and more. Seeing them all the time lessens the terror. But there's one thing that I am sure probably not heard about yet! La Pascualita, the corpse bride and moving mannequin!
Mexico has it's own version of creepy and scary doll or mannequin. Maybe you have not heard yet but it's totally famous in the country. La Pascualita is a 75 year-old bridal mannequin. It is a model mannequin for bridal dresses located at a store in Chihuahua, Mexico. The locals believe that La Pascualita is not actually a mannequin but a perfectly preserved corpse of the daughter of the store owner.
La Pascualita was installed on March 25, 1930 at the store dressed in a bridal gown. People were amazed because of it's realistic looks. Rumors sooner came out saying that La Pascualita resembles the owner's daughter who died after her wedding day because of a black spider bite.
Locals believes about the legend saying that La Pascualita becomes alive during the night. A love-sick french magician accompany her around the city. Also, people who visited the mannequin said that La Pascualita changes a little bit of it's position everytime. Even one of the store employees said that La Pascualita's hands breaks out in sweat and varicose veins showed on it.
