iCloud, the primary data and photo storage service that Apple offers to it's users of iPhone, iPad and MacBook, has been hacked and 101 celebrities
have become victims. The hacker who has stolen the files and photos of famous celebrities posted nude pictures online.
Famous names in the show business and celebrity world have seen nude
pictures of themselves posted online for the entire world to see. Some of the celebrities are
Jennifer Lawrence, Kirsten Dunst (Spiderman leading female star), Mary Elizabeth
Winstead, and Kate Upton.
24 hours after the photos were published online, Apple said that they
are aware of the breach but did not tell how did it happen. Apple also
did not verify if the same issue would happen again in the future.
The FBI is currently looking into
the matter knowing that high profile celebrities are involved in the
said issue. Meanwhile, Apple Corporation is also doing their
investigation and said that it might be the find my iPhone service that
is causing the breach.
Fans around the globe has been talking about the issue and it has now become a trending topic across the internet. Now, it is really scary to take some private photos and store it through your devices because even the high profile people gets victimized.
The iCloud service is currently being used by more than 320 million people worldwide since its released in October 2011, which when activated the service started to
automatically stores photos, emails, and documents.
